Fairfax County Board of Superivisors has unanimously approved new Comprehensive Outdoor Lighting Standards. All of our hard work has paid off. Not only did we get an outdoor lighting ordinance, we may have one of the best in the nation. The Fairfax County Zoning Administration staff and Jack Reale specifically has crafted an excellent document that will be a model for other jurisdictions. Many thanks to the many people who took the time to write their representatives. This kept the pressure on during this three year long process. I guess good things do come to those who wait.
